Like many other micro producers in the Matas de Minas region, José Terra relies only on the help of his wife, daughter and son-in-law to take care of his small coffee crop.
If quantity is not an option, high quality is a necessity to ensure better gains from coffee production and thus better living conditions for the family.
And year after year José Terra's coffees have been surprising for their complexity.
