Preço de saldo
FROM THE FERMENTATION GURU IN BRAZIL, JHONE LACERDA, WE BRING THIS SUPER CREAMY COFFEE WITH DELICATE FLORAL NOTES
Sítio Santa Rita, in the caparaó region - a National Park in a rocky area between the states of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo in Brazil - was founded in 1896. Jhone Lacerda is the fourth generation of coffee farmers in that farm area, and the first producing specialty coffee.
Jhone moved to the family estate at the age of 15, when he decided to devote himself to coffee production, even without appreciating its consumption, a reality that only changed in 2006, when his father arrived at the farm with a small can of “gourmet” coffee, something that was completely different from everything they had already produced at Sítio Santa Rita, and that soon won Jhone's heart.
He then began to study new production techniques, graduated Q-grader and built a testing laboratory on the farm, but was only in 2012, during a coffee roasting course, that Jhone, upon hearing a lecture from a mexican producer called Manuel Diaz, suffered a paradigm break that changed his history once and for all with the production of coffee and marked his entry into the universe of specialty coffees: “while in brazil there was a concept that coffee to be good, it could not suffer any type of fermentation, that man said that a coffee to be very good, needed to be fermented ”.
Today jhone is one of the biggest references in brazil in coffee fermentation processes and the result of all this effort is experienced in each new incredible batch that he has been launching year after year.
